If you can’t buy your investor a beer, don’t take their money

Great post by Sachin Agarwal, founder of Posterous, about the fundraising process and getting to know your investors.  Somewhat different perspective on the whole thing that’s very helpful.  Well worth the read.  Big takeaway: start meeting VCs and getting to know them (in an informal way) well before you need to raise money.  It’s not so much the idea of reaching out to investors early that’s new, but his approach to doing so.
