Some good tips in here. The last part is particularly interesting, about people who refuse to play by the rules and how this only hurts them. Good to keep in mind if your natural inclination is to take an “I’m above this” approach to this sort of thing, which is the direction I tend to go about these things. But I need to re-think this – if you really want to accomplish things, sometimes you have to work within the constraints of the system. Expecting customers or the world to change for you just isn’t pragmatic at times, or maybe ever.
