Good reminder about not discriminating against people because of their age, whether they seem “too old” or “too young”. Maybe young people who experienced big time success early weren’t “just lucky” – maybe they actually deserve their success because they’re good. It’s really easy to write these folks off as just being in the right place at the right time, which could be true to some extent, but they were the ones who put themselves there. And this is really just a crutch to help us feel less jealous / better about our own lesser successes. Important to realize this and avoid it I think.
