Red, Yellow, Blue Art Exhibit
This is totally gorgeous, and there are blue and yellow ones as well. Will post more pics at some point. If you live in New York City, go check this out in Madison Square Park on a sunny day. It’s beautiful.

Going Out On Top
Nice way to finish things off at Dig Inn. Feel like we accomplished an awful lot over the last 2.5 years, and I feel like I accomplished and grew a lot personally. Looking forward to the next chapter…

Great Way To Start A Cold Morning
This made for a great way to start the day a little while ago. Hot cup of coffee after a cold, early Saturday morning walk.

Super Sweet Green Lazer
Who doesn’t like lazers? They are awesome. And this one was especially well-placed.
-
Bricks in Technicolor
So I randomly came across this the last time I was in Chicago. And random it is – sandwiched between a parking garage and some boring building. No apparent reason for it to be there…somebody just felt like getting creative. Pretty cool.

White Tree Stump Bar Stools
These are totally gorgeous. The stark white is beautiful, and they contrast really well with the bar & stool. Nice work by the bar.
-
Headless Statues in Millenium Park
These also kind of freaked me out a bit, but they’re pretty cool-looking. It’s also cool that you can walk among them…that was an interesting experience.

Creative Sweetener Drawers
Nice creative use of an old library index card drawer (at least I think that’s what it is). Well done by Treehaus, just like the rest of their store design.
-
Mannequins on the Sidewalk
They appear to be waiting for something. Patiently, but eagerly. (This certainly freaked me out a bit as I was heading to a coffee shop early one Saturday morning.)

The Smith at 52nd Street
There’s no substitute for clean, classic design. Subway tile never seems to get old (when used well).
-
Product of New York City
Great, fairly subtle local branding. Subtle in the sense that they’re not screaming New York City at you (since “the bean” is what grabs your attention).

Timeless Principles of Eating Well
Words to eat by. Bet you can’t guess when this poster was created? 2012? Maybe 2011? Try 1917! Pretty crazy, right? Truly timeless principles.

Kota in the Kitchen
Kota might be the most beautiful dog ever. Seriously.

Clae Blue Sneakers
I love the color of these shoes. The blue is so rich and contrasts so well with the stark white sole. Also really dig the color of the velcro – beautiful light blue contrast to the dark blue of the shoes. Buy ’em here if you dig ’em
